Gift incentive at Co-op Pharmacy

Published: 31 July 2008 00:00

The Co-Operative Pharmacy has launched its first major fragrance promotion, offering a free watch to shoppers who spend £20 or more on any perfume.

There are 194 branches with fragrance counters in the 800-strong pharmacy estate.

"Our in-store offering is very dynamic and we have traditionally focused on health essentials and value promotions," says Co-operative Pharmacy marketing manager Liz Page.

"Although fragrance counters do not extend throughout our entire estate, 194 stores is a significant number and there is a real opportunity here for us to capture spend within this arena, offering customers better value on those more indulgent products," she adds.

The free watch campaign, including a point of sale suite, has been developed by marketing agency Sequioa.
